These programs aim to inspire environmental stewardship, fostering a generation of young advocates who are empowered to take action against climate change and contribute to a more sustainable future. |

Environmental Education for Youth Our organization promotes environmental awareness and green career through educational programs for youth. We offer a Certified Climate Adaptation Course for Youth, which explores eco-friendly practices, climate change, green jobs, ecopreneurship and sustainability. Participants gain valuable knowledge and receive certification upon completion. |

Public Events on Climate Issues The workshop was inaugurated by distinguished guests, including S.M. Rashed Ahmed, former Ambassador to Kosovo; Aminul Islam, Assistant Country Director (Environment) at UNDP Bangladesh; and Gopal Kumar Jain, Program Coordinator of SAYEN. The event was jointly organized by SAYEN-Bangladesh and Biozid Climate Institute, with the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific providing financial support. |

Civil society representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region came together in Colombo, Sri Lanka for the Asia-Pacific ARA-TLS Knowledge Synthesis Symposium , held from February 24-26, 2025. Organized by Transition Research as the TLS project lead partner of the Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA) , Biozid Climate Institute is partner of ARA. The symposium aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among climate adaptation experts and practitioners. BCI Executive Director Md Biozid Jessorey speech during the symposium. His speech highlighted that climate crisis in Bangladesh and linked with health. The event served as a platform for participants to exchange experiences from their ongoing climate adaptation projects, and developing tools for effective evaluation and future planning. Through discussions and workshops, delegates honed strategies for scaling climate adaptation initiatives, addressing the region's growing vulnerability to climate impacts. |

National Workshop on Localizing Early Warning Systems in Bangladesh A two-day National Workshop on Localized Early Warning Mechanisms concluded in Dhaka bringing together civil society representatives, government officials, policymakers, academicians, and disaster risk reduction experts to strengthen community-based Early Warning Systems (EWS) in Bangladesh. The workshop, held on 12–13 May, 2025 and organized by Nari Maitree in collaboration with the Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), focused on enhancing the accessibility, effectiveness, and local ownership of EWS to protect vulnerable communities from climate-induced hazards. Biozid Climate Institute is partner of GNDR. The Executive Director of BCI shared insights on the Decentralized Biozid Climate Disaster Early Warning System with the participants. The event served as a critical platform for inclusive, multi-stakeholder dialogue. Participants shared practical experiences, best practices, and locally-led solutions aimed at improving preparedness and anticipatory action at the grassroots level. Discussions emphasized the essential role of civil society organizations (CSOs) in shaping and implementing people-centered EWS that respond to community needs and realities. The workshop attracted a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including GNDR members, local and international CSOs, national government agencies, academia, and private sector actors. Participants jointly identified actionable strategies to improve coordination and ensure that early warning systems are timely, trusted, and accessible especially for the most at-risk populations. |

Renewable Lady : Enhance capacity of Khulna city to adapt rooftop solar with a gender lens. This project provide renewable rooftop solar energy entrepreneurship training to women and Youth. Besides project will do capacity building of local government (City Corporation) officers and other stakeholders like engineers, electricians. Through is project target audience overcome climate related economic and social challenges and contribute to energy transition in Khulna. |
